PAGNITOAN ( 1907 ) - This place had been notably known
for growing a kind of plant called " nito " These
plants can ordinarily be found anywhere in this place. Nito is a plant
of the fine family that can be used as materials for making baskets.
The people in this place utilize this vine in making baskets for their
livelihood. The main and sole reason behind the naming of Pagnitoan
is because of the useful vine, " nito ", that grow
abundantly in this place.
